  1. Windows did update on 16th or 17th and since then I have a shadown on my monitor

Running Windows 10 pro, kept getting message that windows latest update failed, couldn't get it to quit reminding me and eventually after several days and tries it did complete successfully. Shortly after that my monitor screen developed a large shadow over left side of screen covering about 1/4 to 1/3 of the total screen. Though maybe my monitor is ready to stop. Maybe it is my video card. I hate it when things don't properly work. I think it had something to do with the update, but not sure. Any suggestions?

    :)

Overclocking / Undervolting guide for Vega 56 or 64?

    Here's a quick laundry list:

List of software to use for overclocking and testing
    Examples:
Wattman (and how to find and use it, like an overview, including profiles)
Unigine Valley or Heaven (use this for quick testing while changing settings in Wattman and checking for stability / artifacts) ...just suggesting this
How to monitor cores / mem speeds and temps during testing (I've seen screen overlays, and others using GPUz)

    Step-by step overclocking in Wattman
    Fan speeds
    Power limit
    Temp limit
    Voltages
    Core speeds
    Memory speeds

Windows Updated(16299.309).KB4088776 Restart is required to complete.

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

Thanks for the suggestions and for the time to respond Windows did update on 16th or 17th and since then I have a shadown on my monitor :) Best regards.

And thanks for the tip of that program, I'll have it on my list.

Window 10 update causes lost apps

    Hi Sachin,

The screenshot of the installed updates is all I have left on my system. On January 16th I installed my AV software and on the 17th after system updates - it only existed in the windows/old folder. Unless you have any ideas where to look for the previous
update list, it looks like this is another unsolvable mystery of Windows (sigh).
