Windows 10: Windows doesn't boot from repair disk (0xC0000225)

Hi guys,


I cloned my Windows 10 HDD to a new Sandisk SSD with AOMEI Backupper. After the clone my Screen gave me an "out of range error" and didnt show anything else.

Then I restarted my PC and now my I can't enter Windows Repair Mode with a bootable usb-Stick or DVD anymore.

I only get a black screen with a green border at top when I boot from the repair image. Sometimes I get a loading files message before that.

Oh and if I try to boot from the ssd I get an 0xC0000225.


What did I did so far to fix the problem:

- I tried Windows 7 and 10 Iso's

- I tried to enter Windows safety-mode but I get the same black screen again (I also tried different Key-combinations like Shift/STRG + f8)

- ISO on DVD or USB (both don't work)


My Hardware:

Processor: AMD fx 8120

Graphics Card: GTX 1060

RAM: 16 GB

Mainboard: ASUS M5A78LM-USB3

HDD: A old 1.5tb from WD

SSD: Sandisk SSD plus 1tb

0xc0000225 boot error

For some odd reason when I turned on my computer today, I was greeted with the error 0xc0000225 stating that my NLS files were corrupt/missing. I am Running Vista x64 and so far have tried the following:

Replace NLS files
Windows repair utility
Restored an old working registry backup
Tried booting with different ram configurations
Created new BCD / Boot
Chkdsk


Google suggests something about apci, but my gigabyte ud3p doesn't have such an option (already vista compatible) and it seems to only occur to people who are initially installing and not people who already have a working copy.
