Windows 10: Windows doesn't update, stuck on 1809

Hello,

Previously I had some weird issue while installing 20H2. I decided to install an older version of windows and update to the latest version.

Currently I've installed 1809 which went smoothly. But I've noticed a few oddities -

Sometimes my computer would crash at Windows logo, and would do so 2-3 times before being met with a blue screen with the following text -

Recovery Your PC couldn't start properly A required device isn't connected or can't be accessed. Error code: 0xc000000f

Sometimes, I would press Enter and Windows would load as if nothing happened.

Sometimes, despite restarting / power cycling my machine for solid 10 minutes, I'd get the same error. The next day it wouldn't happen.

Sometimes this whole thing would not happen at ALL and my system would boot just fine.

I tried using the Update Assistant. After 2 restarts, the same error would pop up and the installation would undo the changes made to the computer. I've tried this at least 5 times, everytime getting the same result.

I've tried to update through Windows settings at least 10-15 times, each time it fails with same error.



I've removed all peripherals and am only using keyboard, mouse, audio and ethernet. I would still run into the issues.

Last time I tried to edit my bcd things did NOT go well, so wondering if there is any other way to update my system? Or if editing bootloader is the only option, what would be a good guide?

I`m sorry I had not noticed that the text on the picture was in spanish. It says that windows has replaced some damaged clusters in "name" file and "directory". Then, at the end "an unspecified error occurred (75736e6a726e6c2e 4f6)".

I`ll do it and I`ll be updating this thread when I have the report.

i ve tried everything:with atiflash from dos,winflash.step by step with bios powercolor hd 6970 from the database.
nothing,doesn´t work.any suggestion????

I deleted all my data. I had have it backed up.

I did a clean installation using the windows media creation tool (usb option).

No, I didn`t. I thought a clean installation would solve the problem.

After posting my previous message, I did it.





After chkdsk, I close cmd and tried to boot and the laptop just turned it off. This morning I`ve restarted it and automatically windows did a repair. Windows has booted and it seems that the repair tool has removed chrome and acrobat pdf reader (the only two programs I had installed after reinstalling windows).

Now Windows is installing updates and restarting my lapop, I`m kind of frightened. I don`t want it to happen again. Anyhow, I want to know what has brought the issue

I`ve been looking for information about the error code at the end of the picture and I didn`t get anywhere.
