windows download came with unwanted pop up program

I downloaded a recent Microsoft update on Windows 10. Along with it came this annoying popup program called Pushqwer that I can't get off of my computer. Most of the popups are telling me I need to do something to my computer or that I may have a virus, run a scan. One had a picture of a woman who wanted to date me because she lived near by. (Creepy!) I have tried to get this off of my computer but haven't been succedssful, How do I do it?

    :)

  2. Why did the startup window get cleared?

I didn't missed any step, the list was gone and gone , even after using lot of programs the programs were not listed in that list.

    Hi bilwilli .

My name is Douglas and I am an Independent Advisor.

I would like to help you.

The following steps are valid for blocking pop-up pages in Microsoft Edge:

    > Click on the ellipses and select Settings.

    > At the end of the list select advanced settings.

    > The option called Block pop-up windows will appear.

I hope this information is helpful.

    Unwanted pop-up window.

That appears to be part of a browser redirect issue being reported in various forums.

Have you sought assistance from your antimalware provider (Avast, AVG, Avira, McAfee, Norton, etc)?
