Windows IOT Enterprise LTSC License

Dear Team,

One of my customer has IOT devices and they want to deploy new Windows IOT Enterprise LTSC license.

They requested us to procure the following license: WIN ENT LTSC 2019 SNGL
Upgrd OLP NL and now customer wants to know whether the WIN ENT LTSC 2019 SNGL
Upgrd OLP NL can be deployed in IOT devices or not.

Can anyone advise on this with clarity

A new feature can be introduced only after going through several tests and receiving suggestions and bug reports from Insiders. So it isn't easy to determine when a new feature will arrive in the stable release.

And, some views on your suggestions:

1. Honestly, that won't come into existence any time soon because all the OS have the same issue- it needs restart after installing an update. Take Android, for example. Ubuntu, another. When the system is running, the updates will be downloaded and installed. A reboot is required to apply the visual and performance changes to the OS, but it isn't the same when it comes to small updates like for Defender and Office.
   
2. AFAIK, installing multiple programs is possible but uninstalling them isn't.
   

 

OpenSSH as an optional feature on Windows LTSC 2019 OS

From this Windows LTSC 2019 - 1809, I gather that the LTSC 2019 has features equivalent to Windows 10, 1809, further affirmed by this statement -

However, I am not certain, if this extends also to the availability of optional features, such as Windows' own OpenSSH implementation, which is listed as an optional feature on 1803 and 1809.

Without having the actual OS in hand, is there someplace where this information, whether optional features present within the base Windows 10 1809 Pro, have made their way into the long term service channel version, is provided, perhaps a compatibility matrix provided by Microsoft?
