Windows 10: Windows Enterprise key

I was using a company laptop with Windows 10 Enterprise and the company went out of business and permitted employees to keep the laptops. Now, however, there is a message that appears on the desktop to say windows needs to be activated.I am not sure what I should do. Should I buy Windows Home and install this instead? Or should I try to buy an activation key for Enterprise? Will MS Office be affected by this as this software was also installed on the laptop and I really need these for work.thank you

• Does your copy came pre-installed on your computer?

Windows 10 Enterprise activation key

I upgraded Window 10 Home to Enterprise to enable Remote Desktop. I cannot find and activation key for the Enterprise version. Suggestions?
