Windows 10: Windows Error Code "0x800f0922" with Cumulative Update "KB5013942"

I am having some issues while attempting to install this update which I have had for the past few months. I've asked my tech to see what the problem could be and he has had a thorough look at my PC and has still come back with nothing. He suggested that the update files may be corrupted as the update just absolutely refuses to be installed. So I deleted the files from the address "C:\WINDOWS\SoftwareDistribution\Download", re-downloaded the files, and then proceeded to reattempt the installation and then encountered the same problem.If anyone knows of any fixes, I would gladly accept them.Rega

Note that accompanying this is an update for Net framework,The error number is often associated with that.

Are you certain the error number is associated with the KB rather than the Net framework update offered simultaneously?

If you wished to separate the elements offered at this time and try installing them individually, you could use Windows Update Minitool (free) which allows you to select updates individually.

Please try these commands from an admin command prompt:
reagentc /info
reagentc /enable

and report any anomalies.

Also check you can boot to a command prompt or to Safe mode e.g. via SHIFT + left click Restart and work through the prompts - this checks the Recovery partition is usable.

 

Windows refuses to update - Error 0x800f0922


Windows won't update, i ran sfc as an Admin in CMD and no issues.

• Adobe is activated on Edge but still doesn't work, could this be related?
