Windows 10: Windows explorer annoying feature

    Windows explorer annoying feature


    Hello all,

    My question has to do with Windows explorer. When I select an item in the tree on the left the column drops to the bottom of the window. It really annoys the heck out of me. Is there any way to stop this behavior? I want to be able to open the tree without picking the last one up from the bottom of the window every time I click on one.

    are you running IE7? if not that wouold be my first suggestion,upgrade to ie7 that can fix some stability issues with windows explorer

    Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

    Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK

    Windows Explorer Replacement?

    j0 all.

    The thing is, I have a very annoying problem with the Windows Explorer: It crashes. Quite often and quite random. I have NO idea what the problem is, and I've searched the computer for viruses, trojans and everything, but there is nothing I can find.

    So, I decided to drop it and use something else. Any suggestions? It must be easy to use, of course. *Stick Out Tongue Windows explorer annoying feature :p
