Windows Explorer quick access panel side changed

When i open file explorer to view any drive or "my computer " etc , the folders , quick access panel , all are aligned to the right , and "minimize , maximize control" is shifted to top left , instead of top right , by default it is other way around , this is problematic , as i am habitual of using quick access panel in right , and maximize /minimize control in top right , it has changed unintentionlly , and now i can not correct it , i have tried many properties menu, but i can't find the setting related to this .

    Thanks

    :)

Its not just text that's displayed from "right to left" alone , in folder details view , item's "name" is starting now on far right , and "size" on far left , while displaying file transfer "progress bar" , bar is filled now from right to left , when I
right click on item , context menu expands from right to left , I think its some other setting than language /region , language is English and region is South Africa

Is WinRar installed? if yes, note the version number. v5.31 seems to be the culprit. Uninstall it in Programs and Features, restart and check File Explorer now.

If you really need WinRar, go to the website and check if the latest download has a newer version number.

    Hello and Welcome!

I would look into your region and language settings. My guess is that at some point you have selected a language/region that displays text from right to left instead of from left to right.

  7. I had the same problem. It turned out that WinRAR ver5.xx was the problem. I uninstalled it and things went back to normal. I hope this could help because I know it's annoying.

If Winrar is the problem there are alternative programs for opening rar files such as IZArc. Never cared for Winrar anyway.
