    Windows explorer RAM leakage due to heic format wallpaper


    I noticed explorer stacking up ram each time my wallpaper changes.

    It didn't used to do that when my wallpapers were in jpg or png format, recently I switched to heic format and I noticed that each time when wallpaper changes, there's a spike in ram.


    Using windows 10 2004 stable build.

    Print HEIC format from Windows Explorer

    Windows Explorer can print many JPEG files by selecting them, right-clicking, and left-click on "Print". Today, Windows Explorer CANNOT print HEIC format in the same manner. Is there a means by which Windows Explorer can be updated, upgraded, or debugged
    to allow Windows Explorer to print HEIC in the said manner?

    Preview Pane for HEIC files in File Explorer?

    While Windows 10 will open HEIC files, once you have installed the plugin, Windows 10 cannot preview HEIC files in File Explorer, hopefully Microsoft ill add this as support for the HEIC format in Windows 10 becomes mainstream . . .
