Windows 10: WINDOWS FAXING

We have installed An HP Enterprise M527 MFP in a medical clinic - 12 doctors who need to fax from their desk. The M527 does not support LDAP for fax numbers, only emails. So using the windows fax, the database of numbers is on each PC and does not globally update or hold a global address book on the server Can anyone point me on something I can buy, add, workaround, to give the doctors the fax capabilities they need.

Windows FAX and SCAN - Fax missing in Sent Items and Inbox folder

Hi,

I suggest to uninstall the scanner and fax drivers from the device manager and then re-add the fax modem. Restart the computer and create a new connection.

Follow the steps to uninstall the Scanner and fax drivers:

• 
  Press Windows Key + X key and click
  Device Manager.
  
• 
  Expand ‘Other Devices.
  
• 
  Right-click on the devices listed and click on ‘Uninstall’.

I need a fax program

I moved my system from windows xp to windows 7. So my favourite fax program does not work properly. the default fax program which comes with windows 7 is not enough for me.

what do you recommend in this situation.

I just want to fax my costumer list properly.

Windows10 fax and Scan folders


Unstumped! Thanks for the push Ken, into sending a new fax. The light eventually dawned on me that the file names of the sent faxes differed over several groups of characters to those of the 'new' sent fax. After a laborious cut and paste operation on all sent faxes I now have a complete record.

Out of interest, I also found this useful 'help' from M$ for missing 'sent' faxes.

• Go to the Control Panel and select Programs and features.
• On the left side select Turn Windows Features on or off.
• Scroll down to Print and Document services.
• Select the plus sign to expand.
• Remove the check from Windows FAX and Scan.
• Select OK.

To install repeat the steps and put a check mark, restart the computer.
