Windows 10: Windows File Explorer lag

Greetings.I am having trouble with Windows File Explorer WFE and I just can't take it anymore. What is wrong with this thing? When I press F2 on a file to modify it's name, WFE just deletes the whole name except the file extension. Sometimes I have try over and over again, and as a last resort, use CMD and change it from the command line. That works.Sometimes WFE is just unresponsive. Try to launch something by double-clicking it: nothing. Try launch by click on and press [enter]: nothing. Try launch by click on and press [enter] [enter] [enter] [enter] [enter] [enter] [enter] like one posse

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

File Explorer Scroll Lag

Hello, I just did this and still the lagging continues. I want to point out that the lag occurs only when I scroll with the mouse, when I click and scroll the lag does not occur.

 

Windows Explorer Replacement?

I don't use Internet Explorer, I meant the thing where you can look at files etc. Hotkey Windows+E. Maybe it's the wrong name in english though. *Stick Out Tongue
