Windows 10: Windows goes into Bitlocker recovery mode without activating Bitlocker

I have a Windows 10 Dell laptop which has gone into Bitlocker recovery mode and I can not understand the reason for it, because I had never activated Bitlocker. The screen of the PC shows:Now, I did not use any bootable DVD or any external equipment while setting up the PC, so the key should have been available at my Microsoft account. I checked for it on the account that was used to set it up as well as the account which is currently affiliated to it, but I found none. 2. Did you ever setup BitLocker Recovery Key on your computer?
3. Are you not able to login to your Microsoft Account to find the BitLocker Recovery Key?
4. Are you using Windows 10 Home or Windows 10 Professional?

Meanwhile, try finding BitLocker Recovery Key if you have ever setup BitLocker Recovery Key for your computer.

Can you take a screen shot of the bitlocker window?

Also, what happens when you highlight the drive in This PC and go to the Manage tab? There should be some bitlocker options there.
