Windows 10: windows hello camera not working after last update, have completed all troubleshooting steps

OK to resolve this windows hello camera issue, I finally reset the device, which didn't work, then reinstalled windows 10 from surface pro 4 device deleting all personal files and apps to fix a camera error after a windows update. Before then I reinstalled drivers, yada yada yada. I've done everything up to this point that I can find on the internet to fix this problem. The surface pro 4 will not let me install from the cloud, I have no idea why, not sure it would help anyway. The IntelR AV Stream Camer 2500 in device manager does not indicate an error. However, The NEW error message under the Microsoft Camera Front, Microsoft Camera Rear and Microsoft IR Camera front after reinstalling Windows is the following:

I've seen this issue posted but never is there posted a resolution. Why is that?

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

Since none of the troubleshooting steps here worked, I'd suggest you do a Clean install.

settings to see if the camera access is turned on. Kindly follow the steps below to check the camera privacy settings:

• Press the Windows key + I to open the Settings app.
• Near the top of the Settings app window is the search box, kindly type the word "webcam" or "camera".
• From the list of results choose Camera privacy settings.
• Make sure that "Let apps use my camera" toggle is set to On.
