    Windows Hello Fingerprint Stopped working after Windows Critical updates two days ago


    Hi,

    Just after upgrading a couple of Windows critical updates, my Fingerprint sign-in suddenly stopped working.

    The driver shows an error under Device Manager > Biometrics Devices.

    I already tried to Disable/Enable, Uninstall/Install, Use Driver Updater from Advance System Care, from Lenovo Website and Manually downloaded driver for Synaptics WBDI SGX. All attempts didn't work.

    Still, it says Under Sign-in Options, it says "We couldn't find a fingerprint scanner compatible with Windows Hello Fingerprint.

    My Device is Lenovo Yoga 920-13IKB Glass Laptop ideapad - Type 80Y8 SN: PF10UWAP

    Someone, please help.

    Windows Hello Fingerprint not working

    This is still not working after doing all those steps, please help after the Windows update it stopped working and it says the following : we couldn't find a fingerprint scanner compatible with windows hello fingerprint.

    After taking all the steps you suggested on here it says i have the latest update.

    My fingerprint reader just stopped working.

    I have a new Lenovo with a fingerprint reader. My windows hello stopped working two days ago. When I go into settings it says Windows Hello isn't an option on this computer.
