Windows 10: Windows Hello not working to sign into MS account on the web...

When I try to use Windows Hello to sign into Microsoft sites (like account.microsoft.com), after entering my PIN nothing happens. Screen Recording here.

I'm currently using Firefox but I've tried in Chrome too...in Chrome I am only prompted to use a security key (it all goes through the Hello interface).

My hello sign in stopped working.

• Are you pertaining on Windows Hello sign-in? If yes, does it mean that the facial recognition is not working?
• Is there an error message displayed when using Windows Hello?

• Click the Start button and select the Settings
  icon.
• Choose Accounts from the list.
• Select Sign-in options in the left pane of the window.

Hello sciencegal,

You can have Windows automatically sign in to a local account or Microsoft account. It doesn't matter.

Is you account listed more than once in netplwiz? Double check to make sure that you have selected the correct account in step 3 Option 1.

The password is case sensitive, so be sure to enter it exactly for it to work properly.

 

No more sign in with MS Account on install?

Please excuse the horrible quality and randomness of images. No important images pertaining to the question are missing. But I did skip irrelevant common steps when taking photos, just common stuff.






























At this step, I wasn't given any other choices, this was forced. This also happened disconnected and when skipping key entry.
I was not given the option to: "Or, even better, use an online account"
