Windows 10: Windows hello not working

I keep getting notifications that my windows security isn't complete, so I open windows security. It says to set up account protection. When I try to set it up, it goes to set up a pin. I enter my microsoft password, and sign in then enter my pin for my microsoft account, and nothing happens, it just closes the window. When I go to settings -> account -> sign in options -> pin, and do the same, and it says I can only do it is I have a school or workplace account. I have to enter a pin when I turn on my PC.

Is there something I can do?

I at least want to make the notifications and the windows security red x to go away, and to be secure.

My hello sign in stopped working.

• Are you pertaining on Windows Hello sign-in? If yes, does it mean that the facial recognition is not working?
• Is there an error message displayed when using Windows Hello?

• Click the Start button and select the Settings

• Choose Accounts from the list.
• Select Sign-in options in the left pane of the window.
