Windows 10: Windows help contradiction?

In the "Reinstall Windows 10" article on support.microsoft.com, under the sub-heading

"Use the installation media to perform a clean install" step 5 states that if multiple drives are found, it is only necessary to delete the partitions from the disk on which you want to install windows. But in step 7 it says to complete step 5 for every drive in the list except the one that says unallocated space. It then goes on to say that when you are finished, only drive 0 unallocated space should remain.


Am I misunderstanding something? I am looking for options to fix some annoying glitches and things, but I have 4 drives in my system and I had thought I would be able to leave the other 3 alone and only work on C:\ and then when finished, save a nice clean image of the boot drive so I can just revert to that should another issue occur.

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx
