    Windows host services


    I have limited daily data and I do coding online in laptop but suddenly software named host process for windows services using too much data like, I don't even think to connect my Hotspot to laptop and I am using glasswire firewall to see data use because Window's not showing, I really need some help, it's been a month, svchost.exe used one gb data in daily basis and I thought It is downloading new updatesWindows host services [​IMG]

    windows xp installation and dual core am

    could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

    Browser /connection security, hosts file and DNS service

    You're saying that Open DNS(and other services like it) house their own list of known 'bad' sites, and by using their DNS servers, it will filter out sites based on that list?

    Would you believe I was already using Open DNS servers.
    This means the hosts file is moot?

    And furthering that, if there's any bespoke sites I want to manually add, I could do it through my router directly.

    Thus I can empty my local hosts file and turn my DNS service back on?
