Windows 10: Windows IE Keeps Opening Randomly With Mixer.com

Hi all,


I'm using Firefox in general, but have IE installed through Windows 10. Whenever the laptop goes into snooze or I run startup, IE keeps opening up on Mixer.com with adverts on it. I'm a small business in Birmingham, UK and need my laptop for taking orders - trouble is I keep having to close the browser back down each time I use the laptop and it's starting to get a bit tedious.


I've gone in to Windows Programs to switch on/off auto start, but it doesn't make a hoot of a difference.


Ran my Avast, not finding a thing.


Any clues would be great.... thanks in advance.

Mixer Broadcast Not Working

Thank you for bringing this up. Let's try to isolate this issue so that we could figure out what causing the Mixer Broadcast not to work properly. Kindly provide us the following information below:

• Can you tell us when did you notice this issue?
• Do you use the Mixer Broadcasting app on Windows 10?
• What troubleshooting steps have you tried so far?

In the meantime, I recommend that you sign out your account on the Mixer app then sign in again. If you still got the same issue, I suggest that you also reinstall the app to eliminate corrupted files.

volume mixer in taskbar in WIndows 10

The requirement of pinning Volume mixer to the taskbar is currently not available in Windows 10. However, you can view Volume mixer from the volume control icon located in the system tray.



Before we assist further, I would like to ask you a few questions:

• 
  Are you not able to see volume icon or the volume mixer on the computer?
  
• 
  If volume icon, have you enabled the option to show in the system tray?
  

If you want to view Volume mixer on the PC and have enabled volume icon on the system tray, follow the steps below and check if the issue is resolved.

• 
  Right click on the volume icon and select
  Open Volume Mixer from the context menu.
  
• 
  Check if the window is accessible on the computer.
  

Note: The option to pin Volume mixer to the taskbar is not currently available on the computer.

HELP! Firefox keeps randomly switching windows.

Every time I open a new window link from a current window, the new window will pop up like normal.

But after I click on anything inside the new window, Firefox randomly switches to the previous window and I have to reclick the new window to get it back.

How do I fix this? I don't want it to keep switching back to the old window when I've already opened a new one.

I'm using the latest Firefox build 23.0.1, fresh install with Windows 7 64 bit
