    windows insider build expires 31st july


    had a popup box saying my insider build is about to expire. I forgot to come back to my pc and its passed that date. It wont allow me to run the trouble shooter, windows update, as it says the files cant be trusted, looked like the certificate on the build has expired. i have tried reset pc and also tried recovery but both options seem to be having problems. Anyone got any ideas to correct the fault of the insider build expiry and how to get a new build to get my pc back to normal. thx

    Windows insider build has expired....

    Since you haven't reverted it back to public build before the expiration, I'm afraid you'll have to clean install as your system will automatically reboot every 3 hours or less.

    Yes. Insider builds before 18290 are expiring on 14/12/2018.

    Switching rings mean you can expect the feature update in the next 48 hours. If still doesn't show up, let us know for further steps.
