    Windows insider build ran into an error. Green screen error. Stopcode: critical.process.died


    I was in windows insider program, recently windows has provided an update to me but on restart the computer got stuck in the loop for automatic repair and I was not able to boot windows. To solve that i had to Reset my PC from windows recovery environment with keep my files options.


    And then my PC started. I logged in with my PIN and my data was safe. But some apps were removed. I tried to configure my PC again and for that I let it update the windows again, but before doing so I left the "Insider program". After installation of updates my laptop required a restart so I restarted it. But when the restart process got completed, when I was trying to enter my PIN, it started to show me error "something just happened. Your PIN isn't available" and when i was clicking the button "click to setup pin" i was reversed back to the same screen.


    I found some solutions to this on the community forums. So for that i was required to access the winRE . I did so but this time winRE was different than earlier when I used it for the other issues, there was different options and no options for "reset this pc" . I tried the option op startup repair from winRE. But after that a "green" screen came with the error windows insider build ran into an error. Wait while we restart and it showed the stopcode as CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED.


    Since then I've tried everything from winRE tools nothing is getting passed this green screen. I'm not even getting the option to reset my pc with keeping my files.


    I can't afford to lose my data. Just help me to solve this somehow. I'm willing to reset my PC but I want my data .

    critical process died, stopcode error

    Recently I tried to update build 17686. But, unable to do so. while I restart my laptop it shows critical process died, stopcode error

    what to do?
