Windows 10: Windows IoT Enterprise LTSC 2019 activation

Hi everyone,

I have created a Windows IoT Enterprise image and have got it running in Audit mode. I want to enable Custom Logon and Unbranded Logo. In the Lab I'm following to create the image it says the following:


"Custom Logon feature will not work on images that are using a blank or evaluation product key. You must use a valid Product Key to see the changes made with the below commands."


What is my next step? There is a product key in the Control Panel->System window - do I need to have activated my Windows before it will work and how do I do that. There are so many different types of license I'm not sure which one I should be looking for. I know I need to get a High End license for each unit with the image but is there something I need to do to create one activated image that I can clone and then buy licenses separately?

Lincensing Windows 10 VM on top of Windows 10 IoT Enterprise LTSC

Hi,

I'm building an environment based on Windows 10 IoT Enterprise LTSC.

On top of this host environment I would like to activate Hyper-V role and have a Windows 10 VM.

Does Windows 10 IoT Enterprise LTSC provide an additional Windows 10 licence for a VM ?

If not, which kind of licences are available/required ?

Windows 10 IoT Enterprise is Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC. The IoT is just a marketing spin to align with IoT Mobile and IoT Core.

Windows 10 IoT Enterprise 2019 LTSC makes sense for all new developments. It includes all the features that were added to Windows 10 IoT in recent years and is completely up to date in terms of security.

Which IoT Enterprise License for AMD Raven Ridge CPUs ?

Microsoft homepage lists the AMD Athlon 2xx series as supported under Win 10 Enterprise, but not under Win 10 IoT Enterprise.

Will the "Entry" license of IoT Enterprise 2019 LTSC work with AMD Athlon 200GE ?

And is it correct that the Ryzen 2200G and 2400G would instead require the "Value" license ?
