Windows 10: Windows is detecting an issue with an Internal Drive

I've got a Netac 2tb SSD that has recently flagged as containing errors in the notification window. Error Checking and repair with My computer takes around 2 Hours to complete, and finishes with an errorI've run both chkdsk f & r, both which present with a couple of errors at the end of the check with a plethora of unreadable file segments. Both of these have ended with:"An unspecified error occurred 6e74667363686b2e 1271." and "An unspecified error occurred 6e74667363686b2e 17b4Crystal disk shows no errors.The Netac toolbox shows no issues with the drive, however Seatools shows a caut

Internal hard drive not getting detected after upgrading the computer to Windows 10

I understand that after upgrading your computer to Windows 10, the 8TB internal hard drive is not getting detected. I’ll certainly help you with the issue.



However, please let us know:

• How did you upgrade the computer to Windows 10?
  
• Are you able to see the hard drive in BIOS?
  
• Are you using a Desktop or a Laptop?
  
• What is the make and model of the computer you are using?
  

I would suggest you to check if the hard drive is being detected in BIOS. If the hard drive is not being detected in BIOS, then it could be a connectivity issue between the hard drive and the motherboard.



However, if the hard drive is getting detected in BIOS, I would suggest you to try updating the storage drivers from the computer manufacturer’s website and see if that helps.

Is the DVD drive External or Internal?

Method 1: Check if the DVD drive is getting detected in Disk Management

Refer the steps below to open disc management:

• Press Windows key + X.
• Click on Disk Management.
• Click on Actions and click on rescan disks and click on
  Refresh and check if issue persists.

If there is no drive letter assigned, I suggest you right click on the DVD drive and assign a drive letter and check if it helps.

Method 2

Try to access the computer manufacturer's website and download the latest chipset drivers for your computer and install the same.
