    Please help me connect to the organisations activation server. It says: We can't activate Windows on this device because we can't connect to your organisation's server. Make sure that you're connected to your organisation's network and try again. If you continue having problems with activation, contact your organisation's support person. Error code: 0xC004F074. If you know how to resolve this issue please tell me what I need to do. Thanks.

    Installing Windows 10 using Windows 7 key

    Nope, you need to install Windows 10 first and make sure the Windows 7 key is transferred to your Windows account after you've installed Windows 10 (not quite sure how that works). I missed the last step and I could not activate Windows 10 after a re-install... Microsoft seem to have done everything they can to make it a PITA. Also, it's technically too late to do this now anyhow, as the upgrade offer has expired. But KMSPico works quite well...

    As for getting rid of Windows, delete the Windows folder.

    You can now install Windows 10 with a Windows 7/8/8.1 key

    Nice. One thing's clear: they really want people to move over to W10 lol. I might just take them up on this offer.

    1. What is the version of Windows installed on your PC, is that Windows 10 Home or Pro?
    2. Are you receiving any error message, when you are trying to activate your Windows 10?
    3. Have you purchased the product key for Windows 10 while purchasing the laptop?
    4. How did you run windows recovery?


    However, I suggest you to refer this thread article on

    Activation in Windows 10    , and check if that helps.
