Windows 10: Windows is unable to install Microsoft Antivirus update KB4052623 Version 4.18.2101.9

I can't install the Microsoft Antivirus update KB4052623 Version 4.18.2101.9. When I try to install it it start, stays at 1% for a few seconds and says then that the installation failed. I also get an error code: 0x80070643.

I really don't like that I'm missing out on security updates...

I hope someone here can help me.


Some info that might be useful:

- My OS is Windows 10 Pro.

- This is the only update that doesn't work. I can still install other updates.

- I already tried to install the update from the Microsoft Archive, but it didn't work nothing happened.

- Troubleshoot doesn't find the problem.

- I've already restarted the Windows Update service.


On a side note:

Windows is telling me for quite some time now that my virus and thread protection is disabled even though it isn't.

I don't know if this is related. I couldn't find anything on that topic so far but it's kinda freaking me out...

Windows update KB4052623 (Version 14.18.2001.10) did not install

Today Windows updated except Update for Microsoft Defender antimalware platform KB4052623 (Version 14.18.2001.10).

What I am suppose to do? Is it OK if I do nothing further or I got to re-install KB4052623 if, so then how?

Your valuable suggestion is needed.

I have tried so many solutions for this. None of those work. Windows defender updates has been issue since I've installed this.

O..., I don't know how many times this error occurred.

Will the handsome Mr. W10 fix the error?
