  1. Windows isn't recognizing my usb midi device

When I connect my Keystation Pro 88 I get "usb device not recognized... May have malfunctioned" and in device manager it shows up as "unknown usb device: device descriptor request failed." It is natively supported and doesn't require a proprietary driver, but I did try installing several midi drivers just in case. I have tried uninstalling, reinstalling, updating the driver with no luck. Any ideas? It worked fine on my other computer a couple of days ago.

Edit: I have tried the maudio midi driver. It still comes up as an unrecognized/malfunctioning device.

  2. USB sound/midi device not recognized

I have a Technics PR804 keyboard attached to my Windows 10 laptop through USB. I've installed the drivers that came with my keyboard by entering compatibility mode to Windows ME, but the device manager won't recognize the hardware when it's turned on and
plugged into my laptop. I've seen instructions online indicating that device manager should identify the keyboard as a sound device, and that I should be able to choose folder location for correct driver, but can't complete this step as device manager does
not list the keyboard as an available device.

    Any suggestions?

  3. Printer isn´t working after latest update.

After the latest update from Windows, my Canon Pixma ip6600 printer isnt working. In Device Manager it shows up as working properly but when I go to print it isn´t listed as an option in any programs. Troubleshoot suggests it´s a USB 2 printer on a USB
3 port and that that´s the problem but that cant be since it worked fine before the update. I´ve tried to uninstall and plug it back in but that doesn´t work either.

USB Midi Keyboard not recognized (Windows 10)

    Hello Annu,

I tried the two options but my Midi Keyboard still does not work with my Surface Pro 4.

I know the device is connected and recognize (I can see it in the device manager).

    Any other ideas?
