Discus and support Windows keeps trying to download KB2267602 despite my virus definitions being updated past it. in Windows 10 Ask Insider to solve the problem; Does anyone know how to remove it from downloads?     Windows keeps trying to download KB2267602 despite my virus definitions being updated past it.


    Does anyone know how to remove it from downloads? I did something like that before with a stuck update but dont remember where it was. I keep hiding it with wushowhide but it keeps showing back up and never installing.

    Hello

    When I run Windows Update I receive the following message concerning Windows Defender:


    Windows keeps trying to download KB2267602 despite my virus definitions being updated past it. [​IMG]


    And when I try Windows Defender itself, I get the following:


    Windows keeps trying to download KB2267602 despite my virus definitions being updated past it. [​IMG]


    The latest definition version installed is 1.245.410.0. Can anyone suggest what might be at fault here?

    Windows Defender is off but "Definition Update for Windows Defender - KB2267602 (Definition 1.219.1608.0)" keeps trying to download

    My Windows Defender is off but "Definition Update for Windows Defender - KB2267602 (Definition 1.219.1608.0)" is trying to download for more then 2 weeks blocking other updates from downloading .....
    it's Windows 10 and I dont know how to get rid-off it...

    Did what you suggested (and tried rebooting):

    Then after a while:
