    Windows lacking in bass


    I'm currently having an issue with windows filtering out all sub base seemingly 80hz and under, my pc is hooked into an amplifier that feeds to a 10 inch kicker and the pc vibrates more than the kicker from all the fans in the case. I know my system is good because I hook my phone up and the kicker kicks. I have looked at other "fixes" that feature settings from six years ago and is now defunked. I have tried Realtek and equalizer apo as well as using vlc instead of groove. Still no bass. I can't find the audio enhancements so I'm pretty sure they don't exist anymore. How do I fix this.

    No aftermarket soundcard, just using the high resolution bus Pc is dell optiplex 3020 Sound system is a Sony dav hdx 266 Subwoofer is a 10 inch competition Prossesrr is an i3 3.6 ghz Power supply unit is a corsair vs600 Audio driver is Realtek and I use equalizer apo There is nothing obviously causing this,.

    When I try to do the speaker configuration it does not let me use anything other than straight 2 channel, no 2.1 I can't find the high pass filter that's messing up my sound.

    Gigabyte 990FXA-UD3 (Realtek) - No bass/sub-woofer

    • Speaker Setup plays all speakers fine
    • Applications do not play any bass through subwoofer (or really, at all)
    • Custom built PC using Gigabyte 990FXA-UD3 motherboard onboard audio.
    • Windows 10 fresh install
    • Tried latest driver from Gigabyte, Realtek, and Microsoft
    • Windows "default" driver does play bass through sub-woofer, but audio stutters and is quiet.

    Not sure what else is relevant to mention; I've tried following various posts with suggestions to fix this, with no success. I've been at this for quite a few hours and am very frustrated.

    Please let me know if you have any questions, or suggestions on how to resolve

    Mic sounds really tinny (lack of bass) and quiet

    Hi, guys whenever I put my headset into my 3.5mm jack on my laptop the audio sounds really tinny (lack of bass) and quiet, I've tried multiple headsets but they all do the same thing. Any help would be appreciated.
    also, my headset is a sades sa810
