  1. Windows Lagging/Studdering

I have a DELL XPS 15 9550 with a Core i7 processor and 16 GB of memory. I am running Windows 10 20H2. I don't know specifically when the lagging/studdering started. At first it seemed infrequent and the duration minimal. Over several weeks, the frequency has increased. The duration of the lag/studder appears to vary but certainly longer than when I first noticed the problem.

I typically work with Adobe Acrobat DC, Firefox, and MS Office apps running: Outlook with 4 email addresses, Word, Excel. For each app, I have multiple files open.

    I appreciate the help.

    :)

    Random lag spikes

    Hi,

We would like to know more about your lag issue:

    • What browser are you using when you experience a lag?
    • Does the lag occur in a particular game?

In the meantime, we suggest you run the System Maintenance troubleshooter. Here are the steps:

    • Press Windows Key + X.
    • Click on Control Panel.
    • Select Troubleshooting.
    • On the left pane, click on View All.
    • Click on System Maintenance to run the troubleshooter.

    Looking forward to your response.

Unlocked Realtek HD Audio Drivers Windows 7 & 8 (With Dolby Digital Live and DTS Interactive)

DTS supported natively by Windows 8/8.1 and it should work on windows 10 too just DDL require to unlock your driver .
