Windows 10: windows laptop auto lock and built-in screen backlight problem

Hello guys: I got my hands on a new Gigabyte gaming laptop AORUS 15X, 2023 new model . So far i found 2 issues below that i can`t solve: 1: when i connect to a external display, and set to second screen only on display setting, but the backlight of the built-in display remains, nothing display just backlight on. Both Nvidia and Intel GPU driver are up to date. I`m not sure this is because the hardwares are new and not optimized. but I found same issue on others brands like Lenovo on the Internet , no solution. 2: I use windows hello facial recong to login , but heres th

Laptop backlight issues

I have a problem with the backlight on this laptop. I would normally just assume that it was a faulty backlight or inverter, and get them replaced, but this is a very odd state of affairs. The backlight worked okay to begin with, but eventually conked out after several days usage. However, I'm not entirely sure it's a dead backlight, as it works fine in the BIOS. The screen is nice and bright when I'm in the BIOS, but as soon as Windows boots the brightness drops down to nothing, even though the OSD reports full brightness. What gives?

The auto rotation may have been locked that's why the screen orientation doesn't change automatically. To address this problem, we need to make sure that the auto rotation lock is off and that the auto-rotate is enabled. Follow these steps:

• On your tablet, tap the Start menu, then choose Settings.
• Go to System > Display.
• Scroll down and set Lock rotation to Off.

Laptop with broken screen How much?

I would like suggestions and look in local stores. I dont wanna buy a laptop from someone online. Sorry. But could be a good idea if you asked him about the performance on older games. Gonna make a list ofall laptops people suggest me.

Remove the screen for space purpose here its small desk and if the screen is opened it will hide my 22 inches lcd
