Windows 10: Windows Live Mail Sign In

I am a Windows 10 user. Yesterday I logged into my Microsoft Account for the first time in years to update my telephone contact number. I think I got a message to say this would take 30 days to complete. I then shut down my PC. Today, when I launch Windows Live Mail, I get a message "Sorry, there was a problem signing you in" OK or Cancel. Hit OK takes me into a never ending loop through the Microsoft A/c login process. Hit Cancel and I can access my emails. Then I find i all my contacts have disappeared and ii the most recently received e-mail is displayed as a blank in the right hand pan

Repair Windows Live Mail

  Press Windows Key + R
  
• 
  Type appwiz.cpl
  
• 
  Right click Windows Live Essentials

  Click Uninstall/Change
  
• 
  Click Repair all Windows Live Programs
  

If the issue still persists, proceed to Method 2.

Remove and Reinstall Windows Live Mail referring to the link mentioned below:

Windows live mail font issue

I would suggest you to follow the below steps and check if it helps.
1. Sign in to your Windows Live Mail using your Microsoft account.
2. Click on the blue tab located at the top left of the screen with arrow pointing downward.

3. Click Option and then tick on Mail.
4. Click Compose tab -> Under Compose Font, click Font settings tab and then choose the font size that you prefer.

As per the issue description you are facing issue in downloading any attachment from Live mail and sending emails.
It is possible that there are corrupted files on your Windows Live Mail that could be causing the issue.

I would suggest you to try the steps provided in the article mentioned below and see if it helps you to fix the issue.

What do I do if I can't download my attachments in Windows Live Mail?

If issue persists, I would suggest you to repair Windows live mail as its corruption might be the cause of your issue.
