Windows 10: Windows lock screen help.

I can no longer sign on to my computer. I used to type a 4 digit PIN, now I get a message that says password or pin is incorrect. When I follow prompts to change password, I still am not able to get past the lock screen. I am not sure why I have to use a microsoft password to access my private computer. I have tried troubleshooting, starting in safe mode, etc. It wants to send me a link to follow but the email address on my computer acct, i can no longer access. It is a vicious loop of frustration. Can you help?

I suggest you to follow the steps below to set the lock screen option as Windows Spotlight and check if it helps.

1. Right click on Desktop screen.

2. Then click on Personalize.

3. Click on Lock Screen.

4. Try to select Windows Spotlight from the list.

Lock screen woes

Setting the timeout for Lock Screen

• Press Windows + I and select personalization.
  
• Select Lock screen.
  
  
• Select the Screen Timeout setting.
  
• Select the time of timeout you need and check.

• When you say that "rolling slideshow ", what exactly are you referring to?
• When you say that "I can't activate it again.", are you referring that you are not able to Activate Windows 10?
• What are the troubleshooting steps which you have performed to resolve the issue?

I suggest you to follow the steps below to set the lock screen pictures.

1. Right click on Desktop screen.

2. Then click on Personalize.

3. Click on Lock Screen.

4. Try to select the lock screen picture.
