Windows 10: Windows Loses PIN - 2019

I haven't tracked it but am suspicious that the timing is after an update, I have to recreate my PIN again. I can use it for weeks with no issue, then all of a sudden I can only log in with my password and have to recreate the PIN function. From reading prior posts, it looks like this has been a problem for 4 or 5 years. I couldn't find anything recent, so has anyone found a solution that will stop Windows from losing my PIN periodically?

• Office 2019 will ship in H2 of 2018. Previews of the new apps and servers will start shipping in the second quarter of 2018.
• Office 2019 apps will be supported on:
  • Any supported Windows 10 SAC release
  • Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC 2018

Clear "Pin suggested" list in People Bar


Does anybody know how to clear the "Pin suggested" list on the "People bar"?

Contacts are added to the "Pin suggested" list once you've pinned and unpinned them. But there seems to be no obvious way to remove them from that list.

After playing around with this feature and pinning and unpinning many dummy contacts, it's rather annoying to see them in the "Pin suggested" list when you click on the "My People" icon in the taskbar.

To set up a PIN on your Windows account, we suggest that you follow the steps below:

• Type the word pin in the search box and select
  Set up PIN sign-in.

  Add button.

  Enter the password for your user account, then click the
  OK button.

  Follow the instructions on the screen.
