Windows 10: Windows mail and calender in Group policy

Has any one disabled windows mail app and calendar in the Group Policy settings snap in???

Windows 10 Mail & Calender App not working

Hi

Having set up a separate account for my wife, which resolved the Windows Mail/Calender problem for her, but the photos and documents attached to her original user name stayed with that name, so although opening a new account resolved the problem it was an
inconvenient solution.

After a couple of weeks I opened my wife's original user account and Mail and Calender operated perfectly, and have done since. Why this should be I don't know.

However, I am still experiencing problems with another issue I raised i.e. 'Windows couldn't connect to Group Policy Client', and I am wondering whether the
Powershell- ExecutionPolicy Unrestricted will help in this connection.

As my wife and I are now both 'administrators' the 'Windows couldn't connect to Group Policy Client' does not affect our user accounts as it did when my wife was a 'standard' user. However, whenever this message is now received it affects our ability to
open Google Chrome.

It either takes any time up to an hour to open or does not open at all. If the latter applies, running the sfc/scannow scan, usually resolves the problem, even though no integrity violations were found. However, after a week or so, the Group Policy Client
message recurs and I have to go through the same procedure again.

I am therefore wondering whether the Powershell- ExecutionPolicy Unrestricted option will work for Google Chrome and not just for Microsoft Apps. Please advise.
