Windows 10: Windows Mail Archive Button

Hello,


In Windows mail I have three accounts set up. Two of them are gmail accounts, the third is a mail.com account. With the gmail accounts I have the option to quickly archive emails using the toolbar button or the "quick action" button on the email card itself. However, for the mail.com account, the archive buttons do not appear in either location. In order to archive I have to select the "..." button to open more menu options, select "Move," and then select the Archives folder. How can I get the Archive buttons to appear so that I can archive faster with this account?

Is it possible to replace the "Delete" button with "Archive" button in Mail?

I am using Gmail with the Mail (Version 17.8004) client on Windows 10.

In the list and in the notification popup, there only are "Delete" and "Set Flag" buttons. But I usually do not delete e-mails; I archive them.

I can right-click the list and choose "Archive", but it would be more convenient if I could easily archive them with a single click. I could not find any option to use archiving instead of deleting in the options.

Is it possible?

I appreciate the troubleshooting steps you have tried to resolve the issue.

Follow the Steps below and check.

Step 1: Check the sync settings in Mail app.

• Open Mail app and Hoover mouse point on top.
• Next to Search icon you can seen Sync this View.
• Click on the icon and let it Sync.
• Close and reopen Mail app and check Archived mails.

If issue persist follow next Step.

Step 2: Run the Windows App Troubleshooter.

Archiving in Windows 10 Mail App

Hi

I wasn't sure if this was a Windows question, or Office.

I use Outlook 2013 with Gmail.

In the Windows 10 Start menu I have the large tile "Mail" associated with those. Works fine. However, there is an "Arcive" button everywhere, and no Archive folder listed in the Folders Pane, or whatever that's called.

In Gmail is the Archived folder called "All Mail" or...?

I accidentally clicked Archive on a message, thinking it was Move, it went somewhere, but where??
