Windows 10: Windows Mail doesn't send emails

    Windows Mail doesn't send emails


    I have synced two email accounts (AOL and Exchange) on my new Surface Laptop. I have full internet etc. It loads new emails and it seems like I can reply as normal. I press send and there is no error message.


    A day later, I thought it was odd that I hadn't received a response. The sent emails are not in my Sent box on this computer or in the Mail app on my phone. They do not appear when I sign in to AOL online either.


    Why is Windows Mail doing this and not putting up an error message?

    E-mail doesn´t send...

    I have just configured my E51 for e-mail...(POP3)

    I tried writing an e-mail...no problem!

    I klick on "send"...the phone starts sending...and sending...and sending...and sending...etc...

    After about 5 minutes I aborted the operation.

    There must be something wrong! Right???

    I just tried to send "test"...

    I can´t take more than 5 minutes to send a small e-mail like that!!!???

    I have tried to configure my e-mail account over and over...

    Same result!

    What is wrong?? Please help!

    If your eMail client has Requires authentication, select it
    Most servers use Clear text authentication - do not change that unless your provider gave you instructions to set it up.

    Windows Mail

    Is it possible to set up more than one email account when using Windows Mail? I hate Thunderbird because I could never get more than one email account set up and be able to send mail from both accounts. The outgoing servers kept on getting mixed up.
