Discus and support Windows Management Console started out of nowhere while i was browsing web. in AntiVirus, Firewalls and System Security to solve the problem; I was browsing web and i noticed a pop-up ad in firefox probably malicious.     Windows Management Console started out of nowhere while i was browsing web.


    I was browsing web and i noticed a pop-up ad in firefox probably malicious. I want to specify that I have the Kaspersky Web Extension, AdBlock Ultimate and Avira Safe Browsing installed in the browser. I randomly see WMC pop up and i closed it as soon as i saw it. Another pop-up from WMC appears saying that it was loading something i believe. As soon as i saw what was happening, I shredded the Temp folder using Kaspersky, ran a scan both from Kaspersky Security Cloud Free and Avira Prime, checked ProcExp64 and found no threats. Anyone got any idea what could it have been?

    Can't say I've seen this before but I would suggest installing all the latest updates if you can.

    Windows Management Console started out of nowhere while i was browsing web.

    Windows 10 - cannot add exec to Startup in Task Manager

    I purchased a new computer with Windows 10 already installed. I am trying to add an exec to the startup list but Win10 will not accept it. The exec runs successfully on my Windows 10 machine if I start it manually.

    Steps I've taken: Task Manager, Startup Tab, File>Run New Task. (browse to location, select.) It will start immediately, but does not show up on the list to autostart, nor does it start on reboot.

    Any suggestions?
