Windows 10: Windows media creation tool problem

Okay thanks for the info but I'm having a problem and I'm wondering if you could solve it,i pressed create media for other computer in the win 10 media tool,then i downloaded the ISO ,extracted it and started the setup,i checked for updates ,it said there was none,then it said checking PC and was stuck on that for about 2 hours until i closed it down.Would you know whats wrong?(One thing?is the coa sticker just the one on the back of the laptop with the product key?how do i know if i have it?noob alert EDIT:I just went to the first link you sent me and I'm following them steps to see if it works,i had already started doing the install before i read you're message.

I suggested a full format as the issues you are having sounds like I/O access errors - thus probably a disk failure - just a hunch but a Low level format or clean all from a diskpart command would correct bad structure alignment etc..
HDD regenerators only hide the bad sectors and depending were they are can create multiple small useless partitions between them - thus not recommended.
You may want to confirm the state of harddrive with tools like CrystalDiskInfo before doing anything.

 

Yes, the COA sticker is the one on the bottom of the laptop with the product key on it. You can run Superfly's Showkey plus, click on the check product key option (upper right), and enter the product key from the sticker to check it.
