Windows 10: windows memory diagnostics program

I ran the above mentioned program due to windows 10 bsod with the stop code being memory management, I changed the default to run 8 times when coming back into windows it simply states there is an issue with the computers memory. What I would like to know is there and if so where and what is the file name to access the logs in the hopes of being able to figure out which of my 4 sticks of ram that might be causing the issue.

Memory diagnostic test results not found

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.



This is very unusual that you are unable to find the results for Memory Diagnostic test.



Usually, when the memory diagnostic is complete the results will be stored under Event Viewer. Kindly follow the steps mentioned below to access Event Viewer logs for Memory Diagnostic.

1. Press Windows key + R. This will open
   Run. Alternatively, you can go to Start and search for Run.
   
2. In Run dialog box, type eventvwr and hit enter.
   
3. Now expand Windows Logs and click on
   System.
   

You can use the filter or the find option in Event Viewer to check for specific logs. You can try the steps mentioned below to filter memory diagnostic results in Event Viewer.

1. Right click on System and click on
   Find.
   
2. Now type Memory Diagnostic results and click on
   Find Next
   

This should pull up the results for Memory Diagnostic that you have ran.

I suggest you to stop the game from the Task Manager and run the Windows Memory Diagnostic.

Follow the below steps to run Windows Memory Diagnostic:

• 
  Type memory diagnostic in the search bar and click on the
  Windows Memory Diagnostic.
  
• 
  Click on Restart now and check for the problems (Recommended).

Why did the startup window get cleared?

I didn't missed any step, the list was gone and gone , even after using lot of programs the programs were not listed in that list.
