    Windows Messed Up


    So the other day my computer restarted and it said "Welcome To Your New Version Of Windows". All my files are in the wrong places, apps are acting like I've never used them before and every time I log onto my laptop it acts like it's the first time on the new version of Windows(logs me out of apps etc.) Also the laptop has been super buggy and slow which is so annoying because it used to run so well... Someone suggested it was a problem with the KB4532693 update and suggested I uninstall it and then reinstall. However, when I go into the uninstall updates section that particular update is not there.... Can anybody help?

    windows xp installation and dual core am

    could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx
