Windows 10: Windows MR headset audio break

Hello I am having issues with my windows MR headset and it seems no one else is having this issue and/or can't find a solution.


After a little bit of use the headset will randomly boost the volume 4 times louder the the base volume and distorts and add lots of white noise. All my drivers are up to date and i have tried everything i could think of in the setting. I have spent hours tweaking a setting or two and testing. I can unplug the headphone and plug them back in but it will randomly freak out again. I was suggested to use a wireless head set but that to does not work for other reasons.


Why can I do to fix this.

I know you say you're not that guy, but stepping into the $250+ range really brings a change in build quality that might have you never having to buy another set. Otherwise, getting 6 speakers with decent sound in a headset is hard, and that's what you are asking for, and I have no suggestions, but just a bump up the list. *Stick Out Tongue

 

Windows 10 Audio breaks when using Wireless Headsets

Whenever i used my Bose QC35 or Beats Solo wireless with Windows 10 it breaks the audio. It never happens on built in audio or while using audio jack.

Whenever this issue occurs I've observed the following:-

• Windows volume doesnt chime when changing volume using mouse.
• All audio is mute.
• In playback devices "test" doesnt produce any left speaker:right speaker sound.
• Videos dont play on Youtube, Soundcloud, vimeo or any other website.
• Audio from local drive doesnt play on any music player.

Did this issue occur in previous version of Windows?

Both the headphones Beats Solo Wireless and Bose Quietcomfort 35 worked perfectly fine in Windows 8 and Windows 8.1 OS. Both headphones work perfectly fine in iPhone 4, iPhone 7, Note 3, Note 8, Windows Vista, Windows 8, Windows
8.1

What have i tried to fix the problem?

• Disable hands-free device from playback devices.
• Disable Stereo device and enable it again from playback devices.
• Disconnect Stereo device and enable it again from playback devices.

What fixes the problem?

• Uninstall the device and install again.
• Turn off the headphones turn on again.

How to trigger the issue?

Once the device is turned On and connected to the computer, Any music plays perfectly fine. Stop the music for 1-5 minutes any the audio breaks.

Turn off the device, Turn it back on. and the audio plays fine as long as it is playing non-stop.

Is there a work-around?

Play any static sound in the background at low volume on repeat.

I appreciate it I was more looking to see if anyone knows something that can fit my bill in that budget. Trust me I know all about the $300 range and even considered audio technica m50x with a condenser mic *Stick Out Tongue
