Windows 10: Windows needs a pin?

Before today the 23 of May my laptop worked fine. Startup -> password entry -> normal stuff from there on out but as of today at like 7pm when I tried to log in it said my fingerprint needs a pin to sign in but I never set up a pin always a password. It says my password is wrong and also the password reset security question say it's wrong and I never set those up. I can't create a pin because it says that my pin that doesn't exist isn't available and the -set up my pin button doesn't work-

To set up a PIN on your Windows account, we suggest that you follow the steps below:

• Type the word pin in the search box and select
  Set up PIN sign-in.

  Under the PIN section, click the
  Add button.

  Enter the password for your user account, then click the
  OK button.

  Follow the instructions on the screen.

PIN at start up

I suggest you to follow the below steps how to Change PIN password:

• In the search box, type settings.
• Then Click on accounts.
• Then on the left hand side click on sign in options.
• Then you can Select Change PIN password and remove the pin.

Clear "Pin suggested" list in People Bar

Does anybody know how to clear the "Pin suggested" list on the "People bar"?

Contacts are added to the "Pin suggested" list once you've pinned and unpinned them. But there seems to be no obvious way to remove them from that list.

After playing around with this feature and pinning and unpinning many dummy contacts, it's rather annoying to see them in the "Pin suggested" list when you click on the "My People" icon in the taskbar.
