Windows 10: Windows no detect DAC

This week I purchased a DAC, the "Optoma NuForce uDac-3".This should be plug and play and replace the pc's integrated dac.The problem is thatwindows cannot see it, it supplies power to the dac, but it cannot see it.It is directly connected to the "MSI z370 Gaming Plus" motherboard.I am using Windows 10 PRO

Windows 10 problem with USB DAC

I have a USB DAC (digital-to-analog converter) that allows me to play music through my speakers.

It has worked fine for a long while but recently it has started to abruptly stop working randomly (over 10 times per day).

I can get it to work again if I:

• Unplug the DAC from usb and immediately replug it in.
• Disable and them immediately enable the device in the windows "playback devices" window.

I have tried:

• Uninstalling and reinstalling Nvidia high definition sound drivers
• Disable USB selective suspend setting (this is a PC not a laptop).
• Troubleshoot sound problems

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It is plug and play and I have never installed drivers for it.

This has been suggested to Microsoft by many users on many forums, suggestion sites, user voice, etc.

Please consider that Windows Phone cannot be considered a legitimate music playback platform without support for external DACs.

Both Android and Apple support this.

I would love to be able to listen to my Xbox Music subscription using an audiophile external DAC.

Please raise this issue internally.

Windows 7 x64 not detecting GTX295

Background
I installed the 295 and it was not detected. So I downloaded 181.22 for Vista x64, but those drivers didn't work for gaming (CTD). So I installed a GTX 8800 and it was detected and drivers installed automatically from Windows Update.

Now I put the 295 back in, and it installed and was able to run games. However, the nVidia control panel was not available, suggesting that the drivers hadn't installed properly... So I deleted the drivers and rebooted. And... again it lists my 295 as a "Standard VGA Graphics Adapter" and a "3D Video Controler", but no drivers can be found by Windows Update.

Question
1) Is there anywhere I can download the Windows 7 x64 drivers and install them manually?

2) Any idea how I can get Windows 7 to recognize my GTX295 so that it can download the proper drivers.

3) Have you had the GTX295 install automatically in Windows 7 x64?
