Windows 10: Windows not decrypting

I had recently done a clean installation of windows due to a bug.

Before i had done it i had encrypted a file on another frive.

After the installation I cannot access it even though the account and the pc name is the same.

Someone please help as it is very important.

AFAIK it's still not possible to decrypt your files for free...

I suggest you to follow the steps mentioned below to fix the issue.

1. Open the command prompt as admin.
   
2. Type in manage-bde –off <drive> and hit
   Enter.
   
   manage-bde –resume <drive>
   

manage-bde –on <drive>

Replace Drive by drive letter

1. Restart the computer and check the status of the issue
