Windows not responding, BSOD and some other freezing problems

With laptops, it is highly recommended to only install the drivers from the manufacturer which in your case is Lenovo.
Lenovo should provide you the right drivers for everything.

  2. I can probably get the needed drivers from here Laptops and netbooks :: Yoga Series :: Yoga 13 Notebook IdeaPad - Lenovo Support (US) (the site is in Finnish there). When looking at drivers for Windows 10, there are 12 drivers. So how can I know which ones I need? Can I see the current driver versions I have on my computer somewhere? And should I get the newest drivers for everything?

You can sort the drivers per part, simply install every driver that there is.

In device manager you can see what driver version you have.

You should keep your drivers up to date as you have a laptop.

  4. Windows not responding, BSOD and some other freezing problems

I installed the first 6 drivers, though not Lenovo power management since the setup wizard didn't start up. I figured I should restart, so I did and now it has just been saying "restarting" for 10 minutes. I guess I have to shut it down... Should I download all the other drivers after that? And are the old drivers removed automatically?

Wait for it to finish, interrupting could make things worse

  6. I just had to shut it down after 30 minutes, I just thought nothing new would happen. It wasn't even saying "updating", just "restarting", so it hadn't shut down yet. But everything seems fine with the system. I suppose I will download the other drivers now and restart again. Is there some time limit, after which I should shut it down, if it seems to get stuck again? There can't be any other way to get out of that situation, I suppose.

  7. I downloaded a few more drivers and restarted, the system seems slightly faster now. I didn't update any CPU, GPU or network card drivers though, since they didn't have any there, the Intel VGA driver Lenovo had there was older than what my computer had according to my system, which is interesting... I could probably find the other drivers somewhere else, but I think I'll just wait and see if any more problems occur. Thank you so much for your help! *Smile

  8. Windows not responding, BSOD and some other freezing problems

Unfortunately I have to continue this thread. I got a bluescreen again, "IRQL not less or equal". The zip file is attached below.

I have had the same hanging problems, Skype and Spotify not responding and the keyboard/touchpad disabling in about every third boot. Also in every boot there is an error with DptfPolicyLpmServiceHelper, the computer can't find some part of it. I just installed the newest driver for Dynamic Platform and Thermal Framework, which I guess is pretty much related to the error. No idea what I should do, I thought I have all the newest drivers on everything anyway... I can check that I guess.

Please uninstall Avast, enable Windows Defender and see how it goes.

I did what you instructed and I guess everything seems mostly fine, I'll see if something occurs. Still same errors in the log and with touchpad though. Would you recommend me to keep only Defender on? I just changed from AVG to Avast a few weeks ago.
