    Windows not shutting down


    Hi.

    I am generally skeptical of windows updates because my laptop always ends up in the repair shop immediately after an update. This time is no different.

    I clicked on Update and Shut Down; my laptop has been “shutting down” for 30mins now.

    What do I do? I lost alot of data when I took it to the repair shop last time so am avoiding that. But he basically rebooted my laptop to a previous version, pre-update.

    I am hoping one day in the future, windows updates will do more good and less harm.

    windows xp installation and dual core am

    could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

    DTS supported natively by Windows 8/8.1 and it should work on windows 10 too just DDL require to unlock your driver .

    Windows not shutting down

    Windows 10 is unable to complete shut down

    We suggest doing these troubleshooting steps below:

    Method 1. Hard Reset

    • Shut down your computer.
    • Remove the cable and wires connected to your computer.
    • Press the Power button for 10 seconds to completely drain your device.
    • Check if there's any changes.
    Method 2. Shutdown trick.

    • Press Windows key.
    • Press and hold Shift.
    • Click the Power icon.
    • Select and click Shutdown.
    Let us know the outcome.
