  1. Windows Notifications/Taskbar Refreshing Is Over-riding Directory Naming

This is an annoying issue that pops up rather too regularly. It is clearly a design fault....and about time Microsoft fixed it.

The issue goes like this :- I create a new sub-directory. I am just in the process of naming that directory, when Windows notifications pop up....and that somehow moves the cursor focus off the directory, with the result that the name I was typing in is lost and I am just left with 'New Folder' and I have to start all over again with the naming. It's not just notifications but anything that refreshes the taskbar.

Clearly, if I am in the middle of entering a directory name ( some of mine are 16 characters or more ), nothing should be stealing the cursor focus until I am done with it !

    :)

How can I hide the notification icon on my taskbar

    Hello,

Thank you for being a part of Windows 10.

I would suggest you to follow the steps to hide the notification icon on your taskbar.

    • Type Settings on your search bar

    • Click on systems

    • Select notifications and actions

    • Disable all the notifications on the screen
Hope this information helps. If you have further queries, we will be happy to help.

  3. (SOLVED/CLOSED)looking for help with Android phone CONSTANT wireless signal notification

Yeah, thats not a solution she is interested in......I've suggested that course of action. Thanks though.

Just to clarify, I feel that there MUST be a step, or series of steps to turn off JUST the wireless notification sound. Thats what Im driving @ here.
