Windows 10: windows & nvidia calibrations doesn't work

my monitor is a lg 27ea33. I did some searching on LG's website and I found nothing. This problem is really annoying, I can't use my monitor like this.

 

....and it's still not fixed in 15063.540

 

I can't really live with this. I need to use my monitor on a daily basis. Is there some other way to solve it? Some programs or some software?

 

The only workaround is to restart the pc when it happens. Annoying I know...

My LG monitor came with a DVD that contained a driver.

 

will try and look for the cd with drivers... see if i still got it somewhere

 

LG does have drivers on their website. You have to look around to find them. I don't know if they have the drivers you need but it's worth looking.

 

found the cd.. will try to install the drivers

ok, so nothing happens when i click install the drivers.. and i found no drivers on lg website

i have also tried opening the cd and clicking setup.. but it says setup failed.. theres also a icc profile but clicking on it doesn't do anything..

 

Probably in the same driver folder there will be an *.INF file right click on that > install, and it will install the ICC profile and also inform Windows of the Monitors specs.

Nothing noticeable will happen.

To check, go to Display properties > Colour Management Tab > Colour Management... > All Profiles Tab > Scroll down the list to ICC profiles and your Monitor name should be listed in that section.

The same method for Printer properties

 

as elpusher has already said its a windows issue and its affecting a lot of users , no ammount of colour profiles or driver installs is going to fix it its a bug

Great, I'm downloading the updates right now..

 

They fixed it. I have been playing various game and the calibration is no longer being reset. I did have some problems with killing floor, after I had adjusted the gamma/brightness/contrast in the game, my calibration got reset. But that's about it. So it's fixed. It took a god damn long time but it's finally fixed.
