Discus and support Windows off Line Scan won't Run code: 0x8004cc01 in AntiVirus, Firewalls and System Security to solve the problem; My Dell precision won't complete the Windows off Line Scan.     Windows off Line Scan won't Run code: 0x8004cc01


    My Dell precision won't complete the Windows off Line Scan.


    It hangs at Scan.


    I have tried with a DVD and a USDrive, it starts and comes up with the error.


    I have read all the previous posts with tregards to this error and no one agrees that the problem exists.


    I have run the USB using Linux based scanners with success, so I am confident there are no nasties installed.

    I have run the offline scan successfully on three other computers all running the latest May 10th version update.


    I have run scannow and Dism all findings good.


    Do I have to do a fresh install

    We appreciate you for trying the troubleshooting steps.



    I suggest you to try the below steps and check if it helps.

    Step 1: Run Windows app troubleshooter.

    Refer to the below link:

    Step 2: Run shell commands for Windows store and check if it helps.

    Follow the below steps:


    • Press Windows key + X and select
      Command prompt(Admin)       to open elevated Command prompt.

    • Type the following commands.



      powershell -ExecutionPolicy Unrestricted Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register $Env:SystemRoot\WinStore\AppxManifest.xml

    • Hit enter, the blackscreen will appear still for a couple of seconds. After a couple of second a new line saying C:\.... will appear.

    • Close Command Prompt.

    • Try to start the Windows Store again.

    win 10 update leaves vertical pink line on screen

    today i applied latest win 10 update and now i have a vertical pink line on screen, it remains on every screen. i have tried these fixes

    Step 1: I suggest you to run SFC scan,
    System File Checkeris a utility in Windows that allows users to scan for corruptions in Windows system files and restore corrupted files.

    Follow the below steps:

    • Right click on the Start button, click on
      Command Prompt (Admin).
    • Type “sfc /scannow” without the quotes and hit
      Enter.
    • After the scan, restart the computer and check for the issue.
    Step 2: Also, I suggest you to update the display drivers and check.

    Steps to Update the Display Adapter driver.

    • Press Windows key + Xkey when you are at desktop.
    • Select Device Manager.
    • Expand Display Adapter.
    • Right on the Display Adapter and click on
      Update driver software
    BUT i still have the line on screen.
